Montero Lounge Kinder Scout Hike

About

On August 5th four members of the Montero Lounge team will be lacing up their boots and hiking the Kinder Scout loop to raise money for Gloucester House, one of Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland's resource centres. 

The hike is considered a challenging circular route of 8.8 miles, with rugged terrain that will see the team ascend to the Kinder Plateau, highest point in the Derbyshire Dales.

Gloucester House is a vibrant resource centre in Melton Mowbray, managed by Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland. It provides essential health, social and advisory services for the over 50s and the wider community.

Key Services

Fitness & health: Includes classes in Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, Sequence Dancing and a local Slimming World group.

Social Clubs: Includes weekly Knit & Natter, Tuesday Coffee Shop, The Evergreen Social Group and a monthly Lunch Club

Information & Advice: There is a monthly drop in session where our experts offer free, confidential, independent advice regarding benefits and care

Specialist Day Clubs: Our trained staff deliver days clubs that support older people living with physical frailty, mental health issues, learning disabilities or dementia

Hours: Mon - Thurs (8:30am - 5:00pm), Fri (8:30am - 4:30pm)
