Story

I'm running to support Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland's mission to highlight the value of older people within local communities. I know first-hand how beneficial regular conversations between generations are - not just for older people, but for those who are younger too. By fostering these connections, Age UK are making communities livelier, stronger and happier.

My Granny spent over a decade working for Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland, so it's a privilege to have the opportunity to raise awareness of both the impact she and her colleagues had then, and the difference the charity continues to make today.
